After ‘Tamirabharani’ Hari has joined hands with Vishal when again for ‘Poojai’, and this time he has chosen Coimbatore city for the screen play. Poojai is definitely an Tamil action - romantic film developed by Vishal, who himself plays the lead function alongside an ensemble cast featuring Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Mukesh Tiwari. This masala film has music scored by Yuvanshankar Raja. Priyan has cranked the camera though V.T. Vijayan and T.S. Vijay has edited the film.

Vishal plays Vasu a brave young man who would do anything for his family members, Shruti Haasan plays Divya a Contemporary and straightforward young girl,Soori and black Pandi are Vishal’s ideal buddies within the film, Prathap Pothen plays Shruti’s father, Radhika plays Vishal’s widowed mother, Jayaprakash and Thalai Vaasal Vijay play Vishal’s uncle’s. Vasu’s household owns a major small business enterprise in Tamil Nadu known as Kovai Groups. When they proceed to sign more than a component of their assets to their ancestral temple, they face problems from a gangster known as Thandavam. Thandavam insults the Kovai Groups household ahead of absolutely everyone and Vasu comes to their rescue. Vasu beats up Thandavam’s underdogs and threatens to kill him if he sets his foot in Pollachi ever once more. Thandavam’s blood boils with vengeance and he starts to look to get a method to destroy Vasu and his loved ones. Is he profitable? Does he dare to set foot in Pollachi again?
